LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Aug. 20, 2007) - African Copper Plc (TSX:ACU)(AIM:ACU)(BOTSWANA:AFRICAN COPPER) received notification on 20 August 2007 that RAB Special Situations (Master) Fund Ltd has a notifiable interest in 8,308,810 ordinary shares in the Company. This interest represents 5.95% of both the Company's current issued share capital and of total voting rights.
