LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 16, 2004) - African Copper PLC ("the Company") (TSX:ACU)(AIM:ACU)
announces that it has issued a further 5,000 ordinary shares following the exercise of a warrant. Application has
been made for these shares to be admitted to AIM and it is expected that they will be admitted on Friday 17
December. Following admission the total number of shares in issue will be 49,992,173.
