Meridian to Distribute Learning and Training Tools to K12 Online Teachers Through LMS
HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - May 1, 2012) - Meridian Knowledge Solutions has renewed its contract for delivering a cloud-based learning management system to K12 Inc., the nation's largest provider of online education solutions for students in kindergarten through grade 12. K12 has tapped Meridian's SaaS offering to deliver start-up training for the education company's newly hired teachers, administrators and guidance counselors. The Meridian Global Learning Management System (LMS), part of the software maker's human-capital management platform, also tracks ongoing professional development for thousands of teachers in online schools that use the K12 program.
