Gold Hawk Receives Final Approval of Modified EIA Including New Chinchan Tailings Facility
SEP 28, 2009 - 16:25 ET VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 28, 2009) - Gold Hawk Resources Inc. ("Gold Hawk" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CGK) announces today that the Company's Peru subsidiary, Compania Minera San Juan (Peru) S.A. (CMSJ), has received from the Peruvian Ministry of Energy and Mines notice of final approval of the modification of its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to include the new tailings handling area at Chinchan and the tailings transfer system.
"The approval of the modified EIA, which includes the new tailings facility at Chinchan, is another major achievement as Gold Hawk makes steps towards re-starting the Coricancha Mine," said Kevin Drover, Gold Hawk's President and CEO.
