The Talent Board Welcomes Jeremy Tipper to Lead Global Expansion of Awards Program
SAN FRANCISCO, CA and LONDON--(Marketwire - May 14, 2012) - The Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on facilitating the evolution of the employment candidate experience, today announced details of the first-ever U.K. Candidate Experience Awards (CandEs). Following the remarkable success of the North American 2011 awards program, the Talent Board has begun global expansion of the CandEs, strategically developing a corresponding program that addresses cultural nuances of the region. The 2012 nomination period is currently open, and employers can begin the process by visiting http://www.thecandidateexperienceawards.org/how-to-apply/.
To support expansion and lead the U.K. program, the Talent Board welcomed new member, Jeremy Tipper, partner at Talent Collective. An experienced recruiting professional and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) pioneer, Tipper takes special interest in helping employers optimize their talent acquisition processes and advancing the candidate experience. He is well-versed in the industry's leading and most innovative talent acquisition services and technologies.
"While there are still companies who struggle to understand how a poor candidate experience can negatively affect a company's brand and bottom line, there are a growing number of businesses who appreciate that candidate care, good or bad, has a significant business impact," Tipper said. "I'm really proud to be involved in bringing the CandEs to the U.K., as they are the perfect vehicle to identify and promote examples of great candidate experience, and we hope they will encourage other companies to sit up and take notice."
The CandEs competition consists of three survey rounds designed to recognize organizations that produce outstanding candidate experiences. Round one is comprised of a multi-dimensional survey designed to capture and evaluate the nominated company's recruitment processes and practices impacting the candidate experience. The submission deadline for this phase of the award process is June 15, 2012.
U.K.-based companies that advance in the competition and are recognized as CandE winners will be celebrated at a special Candidate Experience Awards ceremony later this year. Participation is confidential and free for employers.
"The Talent Board is truly excited to highlight companies in the U.K. that are elevating the candidate experience and to help others understand how they can improve their own processes," commented Elaine Orler, chairman of the Talent Board and CEO of Talent Function. "Jeremy is passionate about helping employers understand the impact candidate experience has on overall performance. We're honored to have him on the Talent Board, leading the U.K. program in its inaugural year."
A limited number of sponsorships are still available for the 2012 CandEs both in the U.K. and North America. For more information, please visit http://www.thecandidateexperienceawards.org/become-a-sponsor/.
