DULLES, VA--(Marketwire - August 16, 2012) - National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC) (NYSE: NRU) (NYSE: NRC) will hold an investor conference call and webcast on Thursday, August 23, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

Chief Executive Officer Sheldon C. Petersen will present an overview of CFC's business strategy, and Senior Vice President and Treasurer Andrew Don will review CFC's fiscal year 2012 year-end financial results. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.

There are two ways to access the event:

  Conference call participants will be able to view a synchronized slide presentation. Go to www.nrucfc.coop, select the Investor Relations tab, click on Events & Presentations, choose FY12 Investor Call Webcast and then select the Telephone player option.
