Scheduled for noon on Wednesday, October 3, the presentation will cover new daylighting technologies and how they can decrease energy consumption and overhead, while creating an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable environment for occupants.

Tim Metcalfe, head of Duo-Gard's integrated building model strategies, will apply his daylight modeling expertise to his presentation "Integrating New Technologies for High-Performance Daylight Modeling," one of 24 AIA-approved and NCQLP registered sessions about the latest developments in the daylighting industry. He will highlight the benefit of daylighting over artificial light and explore how daylighting can reduce costly factors such as heat gain and glare.
