Downtown Industries Ltd. Announces Completion of Name Change and Consolidation and Transfer to NEX

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 19, 2010) - Downtown Industries Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:DWN.H) is pleased to announce that effective as of the opening of the market on July 13, 2010 it changed its name from "Ameriplas Holdings Ltd." to "Downtown Industries Ltd." and the trading symbol for the Company changed to "DWN.H". In connection with this change of name, the Company also announces that it has consolidated its share capital on a 20 old shares for one share basis. Following the share consolidation, the Company has 1,252,270 common shares outstanding.
As the Company no longer satisfies the Tier 2 maintenance requirements for a TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") Tier 2 issuer, the Company's common shares were transferred to the NEX board of the Exchange effective as of the opening of the market on July 13, 2010.
