Quorum Appoints Lee Poseidon to Head U.S. Operations

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 13, 2005) - Quorum Information 
Technologies Inc. (TSX VENTURE:QIS) (Quorum) announced today that Lee 
Poseidon has been selected to head up its growing U.S. business. Mr. 
Poseidon is an automotive industry veteran with more than 20 years of 
global operating management and leadership experience in a variety of 
settings, from start ups to mature businesses. As Vice President and 
General Manager - Quorum U.S., Mr. Poseidon will be responsible for 
executing on key elements of the Company's strategic plan for deployment 
of XSELLERATOR(TM) in the U.S. market. XSELLERATOR is the only 
completely integrated, Windows-based DMS software on the market. It 
automates and streamlines dealerships' sales, service, parts and 
accounting departments.

will play a big part in that strategy, and he will be a huge asset to

Most recently, Mr. Poseidon was the Senior Vice President and General 
Manager of ProQuest Global Automotive, a division of ProQuest, (aka Bell 
and Howell) where he successfully revitalized, and grew on a global 
basis, a mature electronic parts cataloguing business with sales in 
excess of $100 million annually. Previously, he was the Chief Operating 
Officer of the National Automobile Dealers Association in McLean, VA. 
Mr. Poseidon also spent 15 years with The Reynolds & Reynolds Company in 
Dayton, OH., where he held a variety of senior management positions. Mr. 
Poseidon earned his MBA from Xavier University and his B.A. degree in 
Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University.
