What's Your Dad's Hidden Talent? A Contest to Award Dad's Hidden Talents, Caught on Camera

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - May 15, 2012) - Mixbook (Mixbook.com), the free online photo book service that offers the most customizable photo books and photo cards on the planet, announces today a national competition to celebrate Father's Day. Mixbook's Dad's Got Talent Contest will begin May 15^th and runs through Father's Day, June 17^th. Contestants will have a chance to upload a photo of their father's hidden talent, and through the power of social media, rally for votes to get Dad named to the top of the Super Dad list. The Grand Prize, a $1,500 gift card for Dad to go wild at Best Buy, will be awarded to the entrant whose photo receives the most votes.

To kick off this content celebrating all those amazing, astounding (and sometimes embarrassing) things that Dad does, we have invited top bloggers such as Happy Hour Mom, Lil Sugar, Daddy Mojo, Utah Mom and Mommy Instinct to judge the competition and chose five First Place photos. 

Mixbook will also offer five free photo books to entrants who share their photo on Twitter using hashtag #mixbookdad. Five randomly selected winners (one per week) will be announced.

Here's how it works (starting May 15^th through June 17^th):

• Find or take a picture of dear old dad that highlights his hidden talent
• Go to Contest Page: https://www.facebook.com/mixbook?sk=app_226105637428999&app_data=Dads-Got-Talent-Contest and upload photo
• Share with friends and family and get them to vote for your photo
• Once a week, participants who have tweeted that week with hashtag #mixbookdad will be selected at random for the weekly prizes from Mixbook
• Judges will choose the top 5 First Place winners after June 17^th
  • 1 Grand Prize: $1,500 Gift Card to Best Buy - Most Votes!
  • 5 First Place Prizes: 5 $50 Gift Cards to Amazon.com - Judges' Choice!
  • 5 Twitter Prizes: 5 free Mixbook photo books - Tweets with hashtag!
• Winners will be notified no later than June 20^th, 2012
