FOR: CMIT SOLUTIONS
Nominated by Owner Doug Bates, Veteran Tech Wins Award for His Skill, Professionalism
ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - August 10, 2012) - To succeed, technology support businesses need to excel before and after the job -- skilled marketers and managers to build client bases and rock-solid technicians to perform the work and satisfy clients. Recently, CMIT Solutions of Fayette/Coweta, a managed IT services franchise just south of Atlanta, won companywide awards for work on both ends.
At CMIT Solutions' annual conference, the business won the system's Momentum Award for strong year-to-year growth since its opening in 2009; and lead technician Brian D'Arcy was awarded CMIT's Technician of the Year award, for the tech who provides excellent support to customers and collaborates well with fellow CMIT engineers.
It's the only system-wide CMIT Solutions award for a local office employee rather than a franchise partner. CMIT Solutions of Fayette/Coweta owner Doug Bates nominated D'Arcy for his expertise and professionalism.
"Brian is the technical yin to my sales and marketing yang," Bates said. "He works extremely hard to deliver best-in-class solutions to each one of our clients. We work together very well to exceed our clients' expectations and have some fun along the way."
D'Arcy began his IT career in 1997, working as an IT consultant and in software development before he joining CMIT in 2009. He said customer service has special meaning for a locally owned business because clients are also neighbors.
"We're very much community-driven," D'Arcy said. "I look at every job as if I'm doing it for myself. Everything I put into work for a client is done to the standards I hold for myself."
