Talisman Energy Declares Semi-Annual Dividend

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 20, 2006) - Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM) (NYSE:TLM) today declared a semi-annual dividend of seven and a half cents Canadian (C$.075) per share on the Company's common shares. The dividend will be paid on December 29, 2006 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 8, 2006.
